safety first folks!

To us, safety is paramount- For our guests and our team. Feel free to come to us with any questions or concerns during your visit.

First aid station

The First Aid station is located behind the large red tent, behind the lockers, next to the tube shack.

It is always staffed with a trained team member and a California -Certified EMT is on site during park operation to ensure the safety of the guests.

WaterWorks Park provides life jackets at no additional cost on a first‑come, first‑served basis (supplies are limited). Guests may bring their own Coast Guard‑approved (USCG) life jackets or arm floats.

Please note only WaterWorks Park– or US Coast Guard–approved life jackets are permitted on WaterWorks Park body slides and attractions.

lifeguards

WaterWorks Park lifeguards are American Red Cross–certified in First Aid and CPR/AED and trained in all duties required of professional lifeguards. Their responsibilities include ensuring guest safety, enforcing rules, delivering guest service, responding to aquatic and on‑land emergencies, and providing medical care within their training. Lifeguards rotate through dispatch, seated, roving, and in‑water positions during their shifts. Lifeguards must be adhered to.

Lifeguards are not babysitters, guests must monitor their children.

Outside floats & fins

No outside tubes, pool noodles, beach balls, floats or fins are allowed in the park.
