When is the best time to visit WaterWorks Park?
Every day is a perfect day to visit WaterWorks Park. However, Tuesdays are slower than the rest of the week.

From Eureka: Take 299E then turn left on Market Street. Cross the river, go up the hill and turn right on Lake Blvd. Then go ¼ mile and turn left at the second light. WaterWorks Park is on the left-hand side.
From North or South Redding: On Interstate 5, take exit 680 and go West on 299.

How can I pay for admission, food, and souvenirs?
WaterWorks Park accepts cash, credit cards and Splash Cash at all our locations within the park.
Do I have to pay to come in and watch even if I am not sliding or using the attractions/amenities?
Yes, each person entering the park requires a season pass or day ticket. It is an entrance fee, not a ride/amenity fee.
I am disabled; Do I need to pay for admission?
Yes. Persons with disabilities are still required to purchase a season pass or day ticket to enter the park.
Is there a family rate?
We do not have a family rate, but you may wish to consider a season pass which pays for itself in just a few visits or organize a group and call the office for the group rate.
Is there a half-day rate?
We offer a Twilight rate starting 3 hours before closing at a reduced price versus a full‑day ticket. See the Tickets page for full pricing and details.
Are there ever sales on Season Passes?
Yes. We often have a Christmas sale on Season Passes as well as Early Bird sales before the season begins.
Where can I get discount coupons?
We don’t have discount coupons, however, keep and eye on our Facebook and Instagram and website for sales or promotions that may occur.
Why do I have to pay a fee for a replacement pass?
The fee is designed to offset the expense of film, season pass supplies, data entry, and cancellation of the old pass.

What is Splash Cash?
Splash Cash is an easy and convenient way to keep you and the kids cash‑free while enjoying the rides and slides. Simply load funds onto your Season or Day Pass in any amount and feel confident knowing there’s no need to carry cash or cards while at the Park. Your wallet/valuables can be locked up in a locker or in your car. Lost or stolen splash cash will not be replenished/refunded.
Splash Cash can be used parkwide at the Beach Club Café, the Gift Shop, Snow Shack, and Tiki Hut.
How do I put Splash Cash on my season pass or day pass?
You can put Splash Cash on your Season Pass using our website page "Splash Cash" under the purchase tab or put Splash Cash on your Season Pass or Day Pass when you arrive at WaterWorks Park. Just let the office staff know, and they will help you with your request.

Is the park safe for my children?
We have certified Lifeguards and EMT's and well-trained ride operators at every pool. That said, safety is a shared responsibility and all children should be supervised at all time by a parent, guardian or supervising adult. This is a family-oriented park.
I got separated from my kids in the park, what do I do?
Please let a lifeguard know or come to the main office. We will help you find them. Before entering the park, choose a designated meeting area if you get separated from them.

Where is the First Aid Station?
Our first aid station is located behind the large red tent, behind the lockers, next to the tube shack.
Where can I get a life jacket?
Lifejackets are free and are available near the Lazy Lagoon and by the entrance of the Wave Pool.
For an baby/infant life jacket, please visit the office with the baby/infant so we can size them. There are a limited number of these lifejackets and are distributed on a first come first served basis.
Does my child need a life Jacket?
All weak or non swimmers are required to wear a United States Coast Guard (USCG) approved life jacket or water wings. Parents may not hold children in the pools without a lifejacket if they are not able to swim on their own. The only area where a life jacket in not required is in the Kiddie Pool.
Any child under 48” must wear a life jacket and be accompanied by an adult in and around the Wave Pool.
Does my child need to wear a life jacket if I am holding them in the pool? Can I hold my children in the pools?
All weak or non swimmers are required to wear a United States Coast Guard (USCG) approved life jacket or USCG approved water wings even if they are accompanied by a parent or a parent is holding them. Parents my not hold their children in the Wave Pool. The only area where a life jacket is not required is in the Kiddie Pool.

Can I bring in my food, drinks, coolers, or water bottles?
No outside food or drinks are permitted in the park. A shaded picnic area is available outside the park for your convenience. Remember to obtain a stamp prior to exiting for the in-and-out privileges.
You may bring an EMPTY reusable hard‑plastic or metal canteen-like tumbler/container for free ice‑water refills all day. No soft plastic containers, no glass containers or coolers are allowed.
Can I bring in my own umbrella or shade structure?No outside umbrellas or shade structures are allowed in the park. There are plenty of shaded seating areas available to use. If you require a private shaded space cabanas and daybeds are available to rent.
Can I bring in my pool floaties?
No outside pool floaties are allowed in the park, with the exception of United States Coast Guard (USCG) approved water wings and lifejackets.
CAN I BRING IN A STROLLER OR STROLLER WAGON?
You may bring in a stroller or wagon if you need assistance. We kindly request that you keep it contained to prevent blocking patrons, walkways, or tables.

Is it OK to leave my kids here?
A parent or Guardian or supervising adult must accompany children 11 years and younger to WaterWorks Park and are responsible for their direct supervision. As a parent, you need to determine if your children are of an age and maturity to be left in a public place like WaterWorks Park. Lifeguards are not babysitters, please supervise your children while you are here.
May I come in and pick up my Children?
Yes, a 15-minute pass is available when valid identification is left at the ticket window.
May I leave the park and come back later in the day?
Yes, so long as you obtain a stamp as you exit the park.

At what age may children ride the flume slides, Avalanche or Raging River?
Riding and sliding requirements are BASED ON HEIGHT, not based on age.
48" and over
Individuals 48" and over may ride all the slides in the park except in the kiddie playground.
Under 48"
Individuals under 48" MAY NOT ride the flume slides or the Dragon.
The Raging River
If you can carry a tube to the top of the ride and hold yourself securely in the tube, you may ride alone. Riding with others in a double or triple tube is permitted so long as you can hold yourself in the tube hole. Riding on another person’s lap is not permitted.
The Avalanche
If you can carry your tube to the top and hold yourself securely in the tube, you may ride alone. If you cannot carry the tube by yourself, you may ride in a double or triple tube only if you can securely hold yourself in the tube’s hole. Riding on another person’s lap is not permitted.
The Cyclone
Individuals must be at least 42" to ride the cyclone alone.
If you are less than 42" you must ride in a double tube accompanied by an adult 18 years or older and be able to securely hold yourself in the hole of the tube. Riding on another person’s lap is not permitted.
Cowabunga Beach
Individuals under 48” must wear a lifejacket and be accompanied by an adult at all times even when not in the water.
Parents my not hold their children in the Wave Pool.
Children CANNOT hang onto an adult in the deep end. If they cannot swim on their own, they must return to where they can touch the bottom.
The Kiddie playground
The kidding playground is reserved for the littles under 48” and their parents/ guardians/ chaperones.
Can I wear a hat, sunglasses, or shoes on the slides?
Hats: Remove and hold them if you can safely hold your tube at the same time.
Shoes: Water shoes are allowed on all rides. Any shoes that won’t stay securely on your feet must be removed; they may be held if you can still safely hold your tube.
Sunglasses/Glasses: Allowed only if secured with a strap/croakie. Otherwise remove and hold them if you can also safely hold your tube.
When in doubt, follow lifeguard instructions for safety.
Can my baby wear diapers in the pool?
Your baby must wear a swim diaper or rubber pants. They are available for purchase in our gift shop if needed.

What is the rental price for a locker for the day?
SMALL LOCKER
Rental Cost: $10
Small locker rentals have a $2 key deposit build into your rental, that will be returned to you when you vacate the locker and return the key.
LARGE LOCKER
Rental Cost: $12
Large locker rentals have a $2 key deposit build into your rental fee, that will be returned to you when you vacate the locker and return the key.
What if i lose my locker key?
Lost or stolen keys will not be replaced; deposits are forfeited if a key is lost or stolen.
WHAT IS THE RENTAL PRICE FOR DOUBLE / TRIPLE TUBE?
SINGLE TUBES:
Single Tubes are free and available at the bottom of each ride to be shared by everyone.
DOUBLE/TRIPLE TUBES:
Rental Cost: $10
*Double and Triple tubes are interchangeable throughout the day at no extra charge
What happens if I lose my Tube?Each customer is responsible for safeguarding their tube and must be returned in serviceable condition. Each tube is labeled with a name for easy identification if misplaced. Lost or stolen tubes will not be replaced.

Can I have my birthday party in a cabana instead of the birthday area?
Yes. Book a cabana online for the day of your party and tell staff in advance that you’d like to move the party there (subject to availability). Cabana reservations do not include party discounts.Is the birthday area a private space?
The birthday area is semi‑private and shared. Two large, shaded tents are located by the wave pool. Each table seats 8–10 people; you receive one table for every 8–10 guests. To view the location, Click here for the Park Map.Is the admission for 8 people just for kids?
No. Admission applies to all guests — adults and children. The birthday celebrant must be included in your total head count.Can I add additional Pizza or Drinks after booking?
Yes. You can add extra pizza or drinks during check‑in the day of your party, or at any time during the party subject to availability.Are parents allowed to drop off their kids?
Yes. We offer 15‑minute drop‑off passes. You must leave a phone or keys at check‑in as collateral. If you exceed the 15‑minute window, you will be charged an admission ticket.Can I bring my own decorations?
Yes. The birthday area is pre‑decorated in a Hawaiian/luau theme, but you may bring additional decorations and themed tableware. We recommend mylar balloons (latex balloons may burst in the heat). No latex balloons, confetti or confetti‑filled balloons allowed.Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted, except for a cake or cupcakes for the event. In/out privileges and an outside eating area are available if you need to store items in your car. -
Can I rent the park?
Yes, we have corporate party packages available please contact Rebecca@waterworkspark.com for more information and pricing.
How do I rent a Cabana or Daybed?
All advanced cabana and daybed rentals are done online. Please visit the Cabana’s and Daybeds page under the “Purchase” tab.

Can I get a ticket refund?
Admission tickets are only usable/valid within the season they are purchased. Refunds for unused purchased tickets must be processed/completed before the end of the season in which they were purchased and must be accompanied by a valid receipt.
There are no refunds due to inclement weather, ride closures, natural disasters, government regulations or a pandemic.
Can I get a refund on my season pass?
Once activated, passes are non‑refundable and non‑transferable. A Season Pass is activated when the office issues a pass card with the passholder’s name and/or photo.
Inactivated passes may be refunded until September 15th of current season; after the season begins, no refunds will be issued. Inactivated passes may be carried over to the following year if you arrange it with the office before the end of the current operating season. No refunds will be given for inclement weather, ride closures, natural disasters, government regulation or pandemic once the season has started.

How can I make a request for a ticket donation?
Please email info@waterworkspark.com with a letter of request on your organization’s letterhead (PDF or Word). Include contact details (phone and email), the event date, and how the tickets will be used.
Ticket requests are accepted April 15–July 31 on a first‑come, first‑served basis. If approved, tickets may be picked up at the office during general operating hours or Monday–Friday, 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Please allow up to six weeks for a response.

May I smoke or vape in the park?
No. There is absolutely no smoking or vaping within the park. A fine will be charged. (You must obtain a stamp for in-and-out privileges).
