By entering WaterWorks Park, you agree to Read and obey all signs and information provided by our lifeguard staff. Each attraction has specific rules and ridership criteria that need to be followed. Our attractions are participatory in nature and have inherent risks of injury. Patrons who do not comply with The Rules may be ejected from the park without a refund or credit.  

‍Due to our ongoing aggressive safety management, rules, regulations, terms and conditions, and policies may be changed without notice. It is imperative that each guest, regularly familiarize themselves with these items.

ADMISSION

  • Everyone that enters the park MUST have a valid ticket or a Season pass.  

  • ‍A parent or Guardian must accompany children 11 years and younger to WaterWorks Park and are responsible for their direct supervision. 

  • ‍To rent a private or semi-private space within the park, the renter must be age 18 or older.  

  • In‑and‑out privileges: Guests may leave and re‑enter the park only if they obtain a stamp from the greeter before exiting. 

  • Service animals must be on a leash at all times and must not be left unattended. 

  • Patrons may not enter who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. 

PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING THE PARK

  • Outside food or drinks (including cans, soft‑plastic water bottles), ice chests, coolers, picnic lunches, etc. A shaded picnic area is available outside the park. 

  • Alcohol, marijuana, or any illegal substances. 

  • Glass of any kind.  

  • Snorkels, floaties, fins, mono‑fins, pool toys/noodles, mermaid tails or non‑USCG‑approved flotation devices. 

  • Shade umbrellas or tents. 

  • ‍Clothing or visible tattoos with explicit language, nudity, or other offensive imagery or gestures.  

  • Patron Drones or other unmanned aerial devices. 

  • Confetti, Glitter, Latex balloons

APPROVED TO ENTER THE PARK

Items listed are beyond the normal items we regularly get asked about.

  • Modest swim wear that is suitable for a family friendly environment.

  • Baby food: pureed food and formula in plastic containers (please make office known upon arrival).

  • Birthday Party Cakes / Cupcakes / Desserts/ Delectables

o   With a Birthday Party Reservation/Agreement in place – Allowed, no charge (must inform the office at check in).

o   Without a Birthday Party Reservation/Agreement in place - Must notify the office on arrival. Incurs fees.

o   EMPTY canteen-like or hard plastic water containers. Free water and ice are available for guests in the gift shop.

SAFETY

  • All persons must follow the instructions of WaterWorks Park staff.  

  • United Stages Coast Guard (USCG)‑approved flotation devices are required for ALL non or weak swimmersLife jackets are available free around the park on a firstcome, firstserved basis; infant sizes are available in the office. Supplies are limited.

  • ‍Children under 48" must wear a USCG approved life jacket and be accompanied by an adult while in the wave pool and within wave pool perimeter.  

  • Children CANNOT hang onto an adult in the Wave Pool. If they cannot swim on their own, they must stay where they can touch the bottom. 

  • ‍Lap rides are not permitted on any ride or slide. 

  • ‍Those who are PREGNANT, have HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE or have a HEART CONDITION are prohibited from using slides.  

  • ‍Only you know your medical history and limitations and do not participate in attractions that could potentially aggravate your medical condition. 

  • No diving is allowed at any time; our pools are shallow and not meant for diving. 

  • Persons with casts that extend above the elbow are prohibited from riding slides. Casts and Prosthetics must be cleared through the office before sliding.  

  • Secure personal property as WaterWorks Park is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Lockers are available for rent through the Tiki Hut. We do not recommend leaving valuables in your car. 

  • Service animals must be on a leash at all times and must not be left unattended. 

  • If you or anyone in your group is injured, report it before leaving the water park. 

GUEST CONDUCT

  • No disrespecting staff.

  • No running, hitting or rough play.

  • No Line jumping.

  • No use of profane or lude language.

  • No crude or lude acts.

  • No engaging in unruly, unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior.

  • Supervise your children at all times.

SLIDE/RIDE REGULATIONS & BEHAVIOR

General

  • ‍Clothing with exposed zippers, buckles, studs, rivets, or metal ornamentation are not permitted on slides.   

  • No keys in pockets allowed on the slides.  

  • Eyeglasses must be securely affixed with head straps. – Croakies are available for sale in the Tiki Hut and Gift Shop.

  • ‍No stopping or slowing on the slides; be aware of specific slide/attraction rules posted and follow the proper riding position. If you fall off your tube, continue to the end of the slide. 

  • No "chaining together" on the Raging River Ride.  

  • Jumping into the Raging River or Lazy Lagoon from the sides of the attractions may result in immediate expulsion from the park. 

  • No jumping or diving into any of the pools including into waves in the wave pool. 

  • No lap rides.  

  • You must ride feet first on all Flume slides. 

  • Swim masks are not permitted on the slides. 

  • After completing rides/slides, you must exit pools immediately. 

  • At the wave pool anyone under 48" MUST wear a life vest and be accompanied by an adult in the Wave pool and within the Wave Pool parameters including sitting on a rented daybed. 

  • No running and use caution as many areas in the water park are wet.

Height / Weight / Tube Restrictions Per Ride / Slide / Attraction:

Please note that in addition to the below, each ride/slide has a posted sign within the Park that has explicit California laws and manufacturer rules that must be adhered to. It is up to patrons to familiarize themselves with these signs and rules before riding/sliding.

  • Flume Slides; The Bucking Bronco, The Whipper Snapper, The Corkscrew, and The Dragon: All persons must be forty-eight inches (48”) or taller to ride the 4 flume slides.

o   Maximum Weight - 300 lbs or less to ride.

o   No tubes allowed.

  • The Cyclone: All persons must be forty-two inches (42") or taller to ride alone or must ride with an adult providing the person under 42” can securely hold the handles and themselves in the tube hole.

‍o   Maximum Weight - Single Tube: 250 lbs

‍o   Maximum Weight - Double Riders: 400 lbs

o   No triple tubes allowed.

  • The Avalanche: All heights however, single riders must be of size and strength to carry their own tube to the launch area at the top. All riders must be able to securely hold the handles and themselves in the tube hole.

‍o   Maximum Weight - Single Tube: 250 lbs

‍o   Maximum Weight - Double Riders: 400 lbs

‍o   Maximum Weight - Triple Riders: 600 lbs

  • The Raging River: All heights however, single tube riders must be of size and strength to carry their own tube to the launch area at the top. All riders must be able to securely hold the handles and themselves in the tube hole.

‍o   Maximum Weight - Single Tube: 250 lbs

‍o   Maximum Weight - Double Riders: 400 lbs

‍o   Maximum Weight - Triple Riders: 600 lbs.

  • The Wave Pool: All heights however, anyone under 48" MUST wear a life vest and be accompanied by an adult in the Wave pool and within the Wave Pool parameters.

‍o   No weight restrictions.

‍o   No tubes allowed.

  • Parents may not hold children while waves are on.       

  • Wave Pool: Children cannot hang onto an adult in the deep end. If they cannot swim on their own, they must return to where they can touch the bottom.

  • Anyone under 48" MUST wear a life vest and be accompanied by an adult in the Wave pool and within the Wave Pool parameters including sitting on a rented daybed.

  • The Lazy Lagoon: All heights and weights.

o   No weight restrictions.

‍o   All tubes allowed.

‍ ‍

  • The Activity Pool: All heights however, anyone under 48" must wear a life vest or pass a swim test and be accompanied by an adult.

‍o  No weight restrictions.

o  No tubes allowed.

‍ ‍

  • The Kiddie Playground: The Kiddie Playground is reserved for littles under 48” and their parent(s) or chaperone(s).

‍o  No weight restrictions.

‍o  No tubes allowed.
