Is it OK to leave my kids here?

As a parent, you need to determine if your children are of an age and maturity to be left in a public place like WaterWorks Park.

How much do Lockers cost?

$3.00 plus a refundable $2.00 deposit. You may access the lockers as many times as you wish during the day.

May I smoke in the park?

There is a designated smoking area by the Avalanche.

At what age may children ride the serpentine slides/avalanche or raging river?

Children must be 48" to ride the flume slides and at least 48" or accompanied by an adult 18 years and over to ride the Cyclone. Children must be able to carry their own tube to the launch area of the avalanche/raging river rides. Of course, weak or non-swimmers are required to wear a PFD (personal flotation device). Yes, ask for wristband as you leave the park. Lifejackets are free and are available in the area where you pick up your tube, with leaving your season pass or some type of identification for collateral.

May I leave the park and come back later in the day?

Yes, ask for stamp as you leave the park.

May I come in and pick up my Children?

Yes, a 15 minute pass is available when identification is left at the ticket window.

Do you have to pay just to come in?

Yes, each person entering the park needs a season pass or daily ticket.

I am disabled; do I need to pay admission?

Yes, persons with disabilities have equal rights not special rights. Each person that enters the park needs a season pass or daily ticket. Customers with issues please feel free to call the independent living services (530) 242-8550.

How do I get there from Eureka?

Take 299E then turn left of Market Street. Cross the river up the hill and turn right on Lake Blvd. Then go ¼ mile turn left at next light.

How do I get there from North or South of Redding?

On Interstate 5 take exit 680.

Why can't I bring in my food, drinks or water bottle?

No containers permitted inside the park however we have a shaded picnic area for your convenience to the south side of the parking lot.

How much do double tubes/single tubes cost?

$6.00 dollars plus a $2.00 refundable deposit.

My tube got stolen?

I'm sorry but each tube customer is responsible for safeguarding his/her tube. Security deposits are given to those that return in serviceable condition with a wristband. Numbers are marked on the tube to better help detect a lost tube

Why do I have to pay $10 for a replacement pass?

The $10 charge is designed to offset the expense of film, season pass supplies, data entry and cancellation of the old pass.

The admission prices are extremely high.

You may wish to consider a season pass which pays for itself in just a few days or, organize a group and make reservations and receive your tickets for $14.00 each when you purchase 15 or more or $13.00 each for 50 or more.

Is there a half-day rate?

Twilight rates start 3 hrs prior to closing. $10.00 for under 48" and $12.00 for 48" and over.

Is the park safe for my children?

We have certified Lifeguards and well trained ride operators at every pool. This is a family oriented park.

Can my baby wear diapers in the pool?

Your baby must wear rubber pants, and they are available in the gift shop.
